CEFR and testing workshops

Nurcan Garip held 2 workshops on CEFR and testing for test writers in MLD on Monday, April 9th. During the workshop, Nurcan gave information on the CEFR and participants analysed their test specifications. Outcomes on what needs to be worked on will be shared with teachers, and worked on during the summer. Many thanks to Nurcan for her putting together these workshops, and sharing her expertise. Workshop - Developing and Testing Productive Skills

On Sept 29th, Oxford University Press and Deniz Plaza sponsored a workshop by Gareth Davies on Developing and Testing Productive Skills. During the workshop one area Davies covered was the criteria teachers should take into consideration during a speaking test i.e. task completion, fluency, vocabulary, accuracy, pronunciation and intonation.
